Guide to the maintenance of plank tables
When you buy a plank table from Plankoa, it is fully oiled upon delivery/collection.
The table must then be oiled every 6 months to keep the wood moist and to avoid wind scratches or dry areas on the table.
We recommend that you purchase a maintenance package, as you are thus sure to give your table the right care.
1. Mix RUBIO MONOCOAT SOAP with water and clean your table.
2. When the table is dry, now apply a layer of oil with a cloth without felt.
3. Let the oil dry for 15 minutes and then wipe the table again with a cloth without felt.
4. Make sure the cloth is put in a bag outdoors, as this can be self-igniting.
5. Open a few windows and do not use the table for 5 - 6 hours after oiling.
6. It is now the 6th month before you have to oil your table again.

MAINTENANCE PACKAGE
When you buy a plank table, or another quality product from Plankoa, you always have the option to purchase our maintenance package. Our maintenance package is not available for individual purchase online, but you are always welcome in our showroom in Rødovre, where you have the option to purchase it directly.
The worktops we deliver are always completely ready for use when we send them out the door. After this, it can be used completely like any other table. If you spill a stain of red wine or a splash of meat sauce, it must of course be wiped away as soon as possible. Likewise, if a glass or similar leaves a trail, it simply requires a damp cloth immediately after use. We advise against all use of acidic cleaning agents, as this wears down the surfaces unnecessarily. Cleaning must therefore only be done with a damp cloth.
